The UAE Ministry of Defense announced, on Thursday, that its air defenses continue to deal with missile and drone attacks coming from Iran.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the number of Iranian missile attacks launched in the past 24 hours has reached 19 ballistic missiles and 26 drones, all of which were intercepted by the UAE’s air defenses.
The ministry stated on its official website, X: “Missile and drone attacks coming from Iran are being dealt with by our air defenses.”

The ministry indicated that the sounds heard in many areas of the country are a result of the UAE’s air defense system intercepting and destroying ballistic and cruise missiles and drones in the air before they reach their targets.
The Abu Dhabi office of media revealed, thursday, announced that its air defense systems dealt with an incident near the Khalifa Economic Zones in Abu Dhabi. “ Kizad ”, and during the successful interception by the air defenses, missile objects and fragments fell, causing minor damage without any injuries being recorded.
According to statistics issued by the UAE Ministry of Defense, from the beginning of the aggression until Thursday, April 2, the number of blatant Iranian attacks reached 457 ballistic missiles , 19 cruise missiles, and 2,038 drones.
The Ministry of Defense reiterates that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal firmly with any potential attack, and will not allow the security and stability of the state to be undermined.
