Amid the strategic shifts and geopolitical transformations occurring in the Middle East and the Horn of Africa, the Somali government, represented by the Director General of the Somali National Telecommunications Authority, Mustafa Yasin Sheikh, signed a cooperation agreement today with his Turkish counterpart, Omar Abdullah Karagozoglu, in the field of communications and information technology.
During the official ceremony at the Turkish National Telecommunications Authority headquarters in Ankara, Karagozoglu commended the efforts of the Somali Telecommunications Authority.
During the joint press conference, Karagozoglu stated, “This cooperation agreement will enhance knowledge sharing and expertise in managing digital systems, aiming to develop the communications sector and benefit both countries in the long term.”
