According to Reuters, Gargash emphasized , saying: “Any political solution related to the Iranian attacks on the Gulf states must include international guarantees and compensation to prevent their recurrence.”
He commented in a post on his account on X: “Any political solution to address Iranian aggression against the Arab Gulf states must include clear guarantees to prevent a recurrence of aggression at any time in the future, enshrining the principle of non-aggression, and adopting Iranian compensation for targeting civilians , infrastructure and vital centers.”
This statement by Anwar Gargash comes in conjunction with a regional bloc, through its foreign ministers, led by Pakistan and including Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, to reach an agreement to mediate a de-escalation of armed tensions between Iran and United States, and to create a suitable environment for political negotiations.

On Sunday morning, the foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia arrived to Pakistani capital, Islamabad, following an invitation from the Pakistani foreign minister to launch a mediation initiative. The ministers are scheduled to meet today to discuss the escalating crisis and come up with initial solutions to ensure a calming of the war and create a suitable environment for the warring parties to engage in political negotiations and establish peace.
On the military front, Iran stated that it is prepared to respond to any ground attack by United States on its territory, accusing Washington of preparing for the attack despite its efforts to negotiate.
The two sides of war continue to exchange threats and warnings that increase the intensity of the armed escalation, according to observers, even though American and Iranian sides show a willingness to come to negotiating table.
It is worth noting that the quartet bloc led by Pakistan, along with Egypt, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, seeks only to find solutions for rapprochement and negotiation between Iran and United States. As for Israel, it has distanced itself from this quartet initiative. According to observers, the mediation bloc is aiming to obligate Israel, through United States, if the initiative succeeds in convincing the parties to stop the war.
